An Overwhelming Experience at The CheeseCake Factory

We went to The Cheesecake Factory on Tuesday, hoping that it won’t be as crowded as it is on weekends. And as expected, it wasn’t ‘that’ crowded. Only a twenty minute wait as opposed to hours of waiting time on weekends.

We got a table exactly after twenty minutes. The staff was very welcoming. Bread and butter were served as soon we got seated.

It didn’t take us long to decide on what to order. As we were expecting big portion sizes, we skipped the starters and ordered mains and drinks only. For drinks we had Strawberry Daiquiri and Lemon Mint Cooler. For mains we ordered Louisiana Chicken Pasta, Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta and Spicy Cashew Chicken from the main menu while White Chicken Chili from the SkinnyLicious menu.

The drinks looked great and tasted even better. Strawberry Daiquiri which was ice blended with strawberries and lime, was cool and smooth. Lemon Mint Cooler was also very refreshing.

The mains followed soon too. As expected, the portion sizes were huge. The White Chicken Chili was a bowl of chicken, white beans, roasted green chiles, onions and garlic with a touch of cream. It was garnished with rice and salsa. It was a well balanced dish, with just the right amount of spices. However, in our opinion the ‘garnish of rice’ should have been a bit more generous.

The Spicy Cashew Chicken was a spicy mandarin style dish with green onions and roasted cashews. It was served over rice. It was mentioned as a ‘very spicy’ dish in the menu. But we didn’t find it very spicy at all.

Both the pastas were really good. The Spicy Chipotle Chicken Pasta was loaded with flavor and veges. It was penne pasta, honey glazed chicken, asparagus, red and yellow peppers, peas, garlic and onion in a spicy chipotle parmesan cream sauce. The Louisiana Chicken Pasta was served with parmesan crusted chicken, mushrooms, peppers and onions in spicy new Orleans sauce.

And of course how could we leave the place without having ‘the’ cheesecakes. We were so full by then so we decided to get the cheesecakes packed. We had Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake and Mango Key Lime cheesecake.

Overall our experience was great. The décor, the ambiance, the staff, the food, the service, in short everything lived up to the standard of The Cheesecake Factory. To be honest, initially we were a bit hesitant to try it but we are glad we gave it a try and we surely loved it!
